Head of Impact Investing, World Economic Forum

Katherine Brown is Practice Lead – Investor Industries and Head of Impact Investing at the World Economic Forum. Prior to this role, she was the head of the European and Eurasian community for the Forum of Young Global Leaders as well as leading their portfolio of environment and sustainability initiatives and international education modules.
Katherine joined the World Economic Forum from the private sector, having worked with Unilever in the U.K. and previously running her own event production consultancy in New York City. Additionally, she produced high-end lifestyle events for Fortune 500 companies with Karlitz & Company, Inc. in New York. She was the founding Chairwoman for the inaugural TEDx conference at London Business School, and has been published on the topic of luxury goods expansion strategy in emerging markets in Business Today.
Katherine is an alumna of the Global Leadership Fellows programme of the World Economic Forum, and holds an MBA from London Business School (U.K.). Her undergraduate degree hails from Kenyon College (U.S.A.) with a BA in Art History and Italian.
